The house is centrally located, allowing members quick access to the best neighborhoods in both Brooklyn and Manhattan.

The house itself is a beautiful four-story brownstone that perfectly fits the neighborhood’s ethos. The interior is newly renovated and has updated wooden floors, furniture and appliances, to make the house feel modern but warm. This coliving space is made up of five separate apartment units.

Location

This coliving space is right in the heart of the trendy neighborhood of Boerum Hill, Brooklyn.

The Downtown Brooklyn House is a 6-minute walk to the F and G trains and a 10-minute walk to the A Train. It takes 15 minutes to get to Manhattan.

The location is near coffee shops, a host of bars and restaurants, supermarkets, delis and event centers.

The bedrooms

Every room in the Downtown Brooklyn House is private, and bedding is available for an additional fee. 

  • Amenities: memory foam full-sized mattresses, pillows, shelving, hooks and a closet/organizational tools.

The kitchens/dining room

Each kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need to cook, eat and have a good time. The spaces are the heart of the house, and for good reason: They have dining room tables large enough to sit up to eight people and are used for potluck dinners, solo meals and even chats in the evening over a glass of wine.

  • Amenities include: gas stove, stainless-steel fridge, microwave, large sink, coffee maker, plenty of cabinets, cookware, tableware, cutting boards and anything else you would need in a kitchen.
  • Security: 24/7 security in common areas.

The co-working space

There is no dedicated co-working space in this house, but the dining room in each unit can double as a quiet place to work. There's a lot of table space to make sure your work time is productive. Our members are either out at work or working from home, so the house generally remains quiet during the day.

The bathrooms

There are full bathrooms in each unit; All bathrooms are shared.

Laundry room

This house also has access to a pay-per-use laundry machine where members can do their laundry in the comfort of their own home.

The rooftop

We even have a rooftop! This space has tables and chairs so can work outside in the spring, summer and autumn. This space holds many parties, get-togethers, barbecues and celebrations, but they’re also great places to find peace and quiet anytime of day or night!
