Where are you from?
Hi, I’m Richard! I grew up in Atlanta Georgia, and a few months ago, I moved to New York City!

What house do you live in?
Right now, I live in the Flatbush House, but before I lived in the Ridgewood House for about 1 month.

How long are you staying for?
I’m staying for at least a year.

What are you doing here at Outpost Club here in New York City?
I got a job with AmeriCorps here in the city. I was introduced to Outpost Club by Jacob Shapiro (our manager of operations) who was also involved with AmeriCorps before his job with Outpost Club.

What was your favorite event so far?
ooh, I remember when one of our members left, Reggie was his name, we had a ‘Going away’ party of him. I had a great time then! ‘Beach Day’ was also really great. It’s always nice to have events with people from different houses attending.

What do you like about living with Outpost Club?
I moved here from Atlanta, so when I first got here, I didn't know anyone. It’s nice to ‘automatically’ have friends right after you arrive. It takes away some of the stress of moving and you can ask members that have stayed here for a while were the best ‘spots’ are, or where to get food, or where to go party…
