Meet Nayra, a digital nomad from Brasil who loves discovering new places, people and things.

Tell us a bit about yourself

I am Nayra Brandão, originally from Manaus, Brazil, a city in the state of Amazonas. I'm a lawyer addicted to travel, wine, photography and human connections. In 2018 I left the stability of a career in a renowned public company to follow my purpose: to travel the world, facing the challenges of being a digital nomad. Since then, I've been encouraging more women to live this transformative experience and to travel alone. As part of this new time in my life, I've come to New York to improve my English and participate in cultural and professional activities.

What's your favorite Outpost memory?

Outpost gave me a new vision of co-living, opening my mind to this way of living, and it is a great honor to be part of team of such an exciting company. Since it's all about people in the end, the main memory I have of Outpost is all the people I've met and I'm still getting to know here, who shared their stories with me at super-exciting parties or in team meetings.

What’s your favorite part of New York?

At this moment, Brooklyn has my heart completely.

What are you working on now?

I dedicate my time here between being a House Leader for Outpost, studying and improving my English, working as a nomad lawyer and enjoying my time in New York as much as I can, sharing my nre experiences and tips in my Instagram (@nayrabf).
